Have you been to Montgomery? My mom and I went back in May to see the Legacy sites again (we'd been in 2018 when the museum and memorial opened) and the scope of them has really expanded. There's even a hotel/conference center.
I'd recommend two days for the Legacy sites alone. We did the museum, sculpture park, and boat tour in one day and that was a lot, especially for a spry 80 year old. We didn't manage to make it to the memorial because of the next day's weather, and now there's something else called Montgomery Square that we didn't see. I really liked their hotel plus it had a shuttle to everything. And, of course, there's other stuff to see in Montgomery!
Yes please- do this again! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Love your take on all the things! And I’m totally planning on making that Guinness cake. We had some in Ireland on vacation last month and loved it. I’m no baker, but I feel like even I can manage this one!
YEEEES on the early Djokovic hate, same and proud of it. My Mom, a fanatic for all tennis, knows that she literally cannot bring him up to me even in passing without enduring a long diatribe 🤣
More mailbag! Rooting for England for my British auntie. My uncle is reading The Power of and The Glory and was giving us FIFA corruption stories while watching the games lol
I love the mailbag. But also I read Stamped postpartum too! I would read it out loud in the middle of the night while he was eating. It helped keep me awake and in my house you start learning from day 1! He’s 5 now and is also a big nonfiction fan. 🤣🤣
If you and the minis enjoy Waka Waka, let me suggest looking up the band Freshly Ground from South Africa. The lead singer backed Shakira up on that track and they have some great music.
Yes, more of this please! #anyonebutArgentina
You get it!

I have not been but it is on my list for sure!

The museum and memorial are SO good. I definitely needed more time, because it’s a LOT to take in and process. Just so well done and impactful.
With you on the “ugh Argentina”
Truly so annoyed by them.
Yes to the mailbag!!
I really enjoyed this, I vote yes to more of this!
I concur! This is fun!

It is very easy and very delish. Report back when you make it.

He’s sooooo awful. I can’t stand him.
I know so little about tennis—last I knew much about players, Boris Becker was coming in hot! 😂 Why is Djokovic so awful?
He's just not for me.

We love a live corruption correspondent!
Yes to more of this!
Yes yes to the long Djokovic hate! I have been off him for-ever. And … Arsenal fan here so … Go England!!!
Yes to more mailbags, yes to Erling Haaland! He finds new ways to delight me daily. Today it's discovering he speaks English with a Mancunian accent.
He was born in the UK!
yes to mailbags. yes to reluctantly cheering for France and making a snacking cake this weekend.
Which cake?!?

I love that you made an NF reader. Way to go.
Yes to mailbags, No to Argentina and Djokovic. Yep!
We agree!

Thank you.
Richard II is IT, baby. It is the play (on the page) that made me rethink Shakespeare! Your best book bossing ever!
I may not know a lot about most things, but I do know a little bit about ol' Shakespeare.
