You knew this day would come. Here I am with my very own Substack! I’m still not a writer, I promise. I am still very much a reader and a book evangelist. I’ll be doing a lot of that over here, plus sharing more of the other facets of my life. Things like food, sports, pop culture, and whatever else has me worked up.
The name UNSTACKED feels like a way to get out from under all the books and try new things. Yes books. Always books. But also, more?
For now, here is the plan: Fridays will be for everyone, with an author interview series called, Read to Know Basis.
You’ll get to unlock the next level of Unstacked when you sign up for a paid subscription. That’s where you’ll find author interviews, bonus episodes, anticipated reads, book pairings, and access to community chats!
If there is something you like or want more (or less) of please tell me. Comment, chat, chime in. Let’s build Unstacked together.
Lastly, if you’re already in The Stacks Pack on Patreon, thank you. Unstacked will be different. Here I’ll be talking about books and culture broadly. The Stacks Pack is a community centered around the podcast and each other (virtual book clubs, discord, reading challenges). There will be one crossover perk each month, the bonus episode. Otherwise, these platforms (Patreon and Substack) will be totally separate and you’re welcome in both.
That’s all for now. If you made it this far thank you, mom. And if you’re not my mom (or even if you are), tell me in the comments what you’d like to see from Unstacked. I promise I’ll take notes!
xoxo
