And as an aside, I picked up These Heathens after your episode. I am really loving it. Those women were all brave.

I’m looking forward to A Flower Traveled in My Blood. I love stories where every day people are really brave. It always makes me wonder if I could be that brave?

I just finished reading Shade, and I was immediately geeking out and sharing random facts with friends! I work in Planning, so I agree it's a very niche topic, but it affects everyone. After living through another heat dome, it's work picking up.

I felt similarly about Marriage at Sea. Loved the survival section in the middle but it fizzled out towards the end. A quick listen though!

I’m looking forward to The Carpool Detectives by Chuck Hogan and Mailman by Stephen Starring Grant.

There is something about nonfiction in the summer that just clicks for me.
